The reproduction lab is equipped to provide photocopies and digital images.
Reproduction requests may only concern documents preserved by the Institute or publications from its library (within the limits permitted by current regulations), provided there is no risk of deterioration.
Photocopying is not allowed for:
- Bound documents
- Fragile or deteriorated documents
- Maps and drawings
- Parchments
The reproduction of documents and books must be authorized by the responsible officer.
Among the extensive microfilmed documentation, the reproduction lab preserves and makes available to visitors the microfilms containing the Civil Status records of the municipalities in the Province of Cosenza from 1809 to 1865 and, for some municipalities, up to 1910.
Reproduction request forms are available in the Study Hall.
Pricing Policy: Following the Ministerial Decree 108 of March 21, 2024, payment for reproductions must be made upon delivery of the copies, with an official receipt issued.

Since August 29, 2017 (Law August 4, 2017, no. 124, which amended Article 108 of the Cultural Heritage Code), reproduction procedures have been modified (refer to Circular no. 33/2017 and addendum Circular no. 39/2017 issued by the General Directorate of Archives).
