Research Services by Online Correspondence

The correspondence service is designed to address requests submitted to the State Archives by Italian and international visitors.

The service can accommodate research requests when the topic is well-defined, and the visitor can provide precise archival references for a limited number of archival units to be consulted.

Guidelines for Specific Requests

• Genealogical or Biographical Research: The request must specify the surname and first name, place, and date of birth of the individual for whom data is sought.
• Other Research: The request must clearly indicate the name of the archival collection and series, as well as the folder and file number.

For information about the documentary heritage preserved at the Institute, visitors are encouraged to consult the Guide to the Archival Collections of the State Archives of Cosenza.

Submission of Requests

Requests must be sent exclusively via email to: as-cs@cultura.gov.it.

Upon locating the requested documentation, payment must be made using the PAGOPA system.
